TV | CATCH UP WITH FemaTVTalkShow.

Lauched since 2003, Fema TV Talk Show goes on air in Swahili for 30 minutes on weekly bases. On ITV: Saturdays 19:30 (repeats Wednesdays 13:30) and On Star TV: Mondays 21:00 (repeats Thursday 10:00)

The show´s dynamic hosts, Amabilis and Rebeca, invite young people, experts, celebrities and politicians to discuss critical - sometimes controversial issues relating to youth lifestyles and the theme of the day. Segments also include testimonials, viewer letters, SMSes and prize giveaways, as well as the comic element featuring our comic character Bwana Ishi. Increasingly, the shows are shot on location in rural areas allowing a wider public to share their experiences and giving voice to young people and communities who generally have a difficult time accessing the airwaves. Interactivity and commentary to the program are encouraged through SMS and email. Copies of the show are sent to schools, clubs and clinics for further use. Partner orgnisations use them in their mobile video shows around the country.
